PocketWebTools runs its AI models in your browser, so some third-party
software is served to your device along with the site. This file lists what
that software is, who wrote it, and what licence it carries. The full licence
texts sit in /licenses/ next to this file.

This file covers code and fonts that WE serve from pocketweb.tools. Model
weights are downloaded by your browser directly from Hugging Face under their
own licences, which are stated on each tool's page.

1. eSpeak NG  --  GNU General Public License v3.0 or later

WHAT IT IS
  A text-to-phoneme converter. Our text-to-speech tool needs to turn your
  words into pronunciation symbols before the voice model can speak them,
  and eSpeak NG does that step.

WHERE IT IS SERVED FROM
  https://pocketweb.tools/vendor/kokoro-js-1.2.1.web.js

  eSpeak NG is not a separate file. It was compiled to WebAssembly and
  embedded inside that bundle by the upstream projects listed below, so the
  single file you receive contains both Apache-2.0 code and GPL-3.0-or-later
  code. We redistribute that file byte for byte, unmodified.

  It is loaded only by the Text to Speech tool (/text-to-speech). No other
  page on the site requests it.

  eSpeak NG's own README states: "eSpeak NG Text-to-Speech is released under
  the GPL version 3 or later license."

  Stated plainly, because it limits how precise this pointer can be:
  phonemizer.js 1.2.1 checks a PREBUILT eSpeak NG artifact into its
  repository (src/espeakng.worker.js and data/espeakng.worker.data). It
  publishes no build script and pins no eSpeak NG version, commit or tag, and
  the minified bundle we receive carries no version string or copyright line
  that we could quote. We have therefore cited the eSpeak NG project itself
  rather than invent a commit hash. If you need the exact revision that went
  into phonemizer.js 1.2.1, that question has to go to phonemizer.js.
